Below are some tips to get your weight loss journey jump started

  • Introduce a new small change every 7-14 days until it becomes a habit

  • Utilize both diet and exercise

  • Diet to lose weight

  • Exercise to keep weight off

  • Shift stress relief from eating to exercise

  • Make eating right a lifetime habit

  • Permanent weight management is a learned skill

  • Do not rely only on willpower or discipline

  • Fill up on nutritious foods

  • Eat protein foods most meals and snacks

  • Drink water throughout the day

  • Make at least 30 minutes of exercise per day a daily habit

  • Maintain a food journal and log all the foods and drinks you have eaten the whole day. This will help you to stay accountable and have a greater understanding of your dietary habits
